The Future Blooms grant program supports women ages 15–35 who have been newly diagnosed with cancer and face the possibility of infertility as a result of treatment.

Financial grants are available to help cover the costs of fertility preservation. Awards are determined based on medical need, level of insufficient/lacking insurance coverage, and the criteria outlined below.

Eligibility Requirements

Please note: Applicants must not have previously undergone cancer treatments (such as chemotherapy or radiation) that may have reduced reproductive function.

Female of ages of 15-35

United States citizens or are lawfully present in the United States

Diagnosis and treatment plan confirmed by an oncologist

A medical practitioner’s determination that the recommended cancer treatment protocol presents an immediate risk to the reproductive function

Must have been denied fertility coverage by their insurance carrier

Dependent upon available funds, grant distribution may be prioritized for applicants who do not currently have children. However, applicants with one or more children are still encouraged to apply

Applicants are willing to provide a personal testimonial to Future Blooms

FAQs

  • Grants from Future Blooms help pay for treatment costs and clinical fees related to an egg freezing cycle. Grants do not cover medication costs.

  • All funds will be issued directly to the medical provider. Funds will not be paid directly to applicants.

  • Grant amounts will be based on available funds, the number of qualified applicants and the level of need determined by Future Blooms. 

  • At this time, we work exclusively with Utah Fertility Center, with goals to expand to more clinics.
